Timothy Hostetter Poughkeepsie NY Death, Tabernacle Christian Academy Principal has died

Tabernacle Christian Academy Principal Timothy Hostetter of Poughkeepsie, New York has died. He passed away on Saturday 1st June 2024 at the age of 61 surrounded by his beloved family. He was announced dead through a Facebook post shared by a family member that reads “As some of you may know, my dad, Timothy Hostetter, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday night. We are grateful for all of the messages we have received from so many of you.”

Timothy Hostetter, dedicated his life to the pursuit of knowledge and the betterment of those around him. Graduating from Houghton University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in History/Business Administration, he laid the foundation for a career that would span decades of unwavering dedication.

His thirst for knowledge led him to pursue further studies at SUNY New Paltz, where he earned a Master of Science in Education/Secondary Education and Teaching, refining his skills and expertise in shaping young minds. In September 1984, Timothy Hostetter embarked on a new chapter of his career as the Principal/Guidance Counselor at Tabernacle Christian Academy.

For over three decades, he served as a beacon of guidance, wisdom, and inspiration for countless students, colleagues, and families within the school community. His leadership was characterized by a rare blend of compassion, integrity, and unwavering dedication to nurturing the potential of each individual under his care. Beyond the confines of the classroom, Timothy Hostetter’s influence extended far and wide, touching the lives of many through his selfless service and genuine kindness.

Services to honor the life and legacy of Timothy Hostetter will be held on Saturday, June 8th, at Tabernacle Christian Academy. Calling hours will be observed from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
